I went on a day trip to New York to collect my wedding dress. Arrived at the hotel early after my flight and they allowed me to check in before the stated 15:00 which was great. I wasn't expecting much and was very impressed. Working as cabin crew I stay in a lot of hotels and the Quality Inn was extremely clean and well kept. It isn't in the nicest area but I felt safe walking to the train station and back. The location was ideal for my trip. From JFK you can get onto the Skytrain and go to Jamaica station. The hotel is around a 3 minute walk from here. Jamaica station also takes you into Penn Station within 30 minutes so great for a trip into Manhattan. My room was quite small but cosy. Comfy bed, clean bed linen, nice soft towels, big screen tv, good shower. I only stayed for one night and the rate was very reasonable and cheaper compared to other hotels I researched. I picked the hotel because of its location next to the train station and I was very happy with my choice. This hotel is perfect if you have to stop between flights and fancy a trip into Manhattan (without having to pay too much for a Manhattan hotel). There didn't seem to be much around the hotel food/ shops wise, but if you are just looking for a comfy place to sleep the Quality Inn is ideal. Free internet was a bonus.

After spending 5 weeks on the east coast, this was a great place to wind down my trip and spend the last few days. The location was right near the airport link train so when I was ready to go there weren't any problems getting to the airport. It's perhaps about an hour into downtown Manhattan by train but this didn't bother me. The neighbourhood looks a little dodgy but it is a very short walk to the hotel from the station.
As for the hotel itself, the free breakfast was tasty, the free wifi worked well, my room and bathroom were perfectly clean and I didn't have any problems when I made my reservation online.

Jessica that works the front desk was great! She was very helpful and I want to recognize her in my review. The hotel itself wasn't terrible but it wasn't great, the neighborhood is sketchy, parking is limited and the floor that wee got Ice from was a but funky. Besides that it was ok.

Very good connectivity with JFK air train and the NY subway. I specially liked the helping nature of the inn keeper. The room was small but very well kept. The Internet was somewhat slow. You would miss the complementary breakfast if you woke up late :)
