The hotel was very clean, very welcoming from the reception staff all the way through to the cleaners, all were professional and thats always a great sign.
Id say this hotel is more functional than anything else, in reality, if all you want to do (as I did) use the hotel as a stop over between flights then you will have no issues at all. The only problem comes if you wanted to go for a walk..there is "very" little around you (its all motorways and hotels and residential) so you might want to think about how long you will stay..for example if you are going to NYC for a weekend then here is not for you.
Maybe one idea could be for the hotel (and others) to provide guests with 'suitable' local walks...a short cab ride away... maybe an out of town shopping mall, or a small town with bars, cafes etc..
As for the room, decent size, pretty much standard features..alas no UK TV channels - eg Sky News or BBC.... might be a feature for Hilton as so many Brits use JFK. Clean bathroom, very comfortable bed, with adjustments for the people that prefer soft to hard...worked really well. Room blasted out with the heater or air/con... works well.
In the reception is a small lounge area, a cafe/restaurant and a nice touch..take-out coffee..on tap all day/night. Free shuttle to terminals at airport every 30 mins.
To get into NYC - its a cab ride, the hotel booked me with one of their recommended cab firms.. more like a private Limo... again can't remember the guy, came from British Guyana loves cricket..it was a $75.00 ride to Times Sq..good guy, well recommended.
All in all, ideal to stop over..if you are between flights. warm, clean, safe, welcoming.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with the staff. We appericiate your feedback. We are actually in the process of converting all of our TV's to HD programming which will also offer a wider channel selection. Also, Resort World, a wonderful new Casino recently opened and we are hoping to arrange daily shuttle service to our areas newest area attraction.
