The room smelled of smoke, just because it was a smoking room doest not mean it smells when you check in. Woke up in the morning with noise from the street ! Breakfast was just average. Photo present on site are indeed misleading . Provide no help with luggage .. I would not spend 150 for this , rather spend 50 bucks more for a better place.

I booked this hotel through booking.com and was just transiting JFK airport. The reviews were quite good, which is why I chose this hotel. On landing at JFK, I took the Airtrain to Jamaica circle from where the hotel shuttle picked me up in about 10 minutes. The hotel shares the shuttle with Days Inn and a Comfort Inn, which are also located at the same place. On arriving at the hotel, the staff were friendly and the check in process was quick. I was given a room in the basement, and the only window was a small one in the ceiling. The room as such was clean and basic, though it seems to have been renovated recently. On check in, I was also given a few take out menus, which was helpful to order in and eat as there was nothing within walking distance of this hotel.
It was ok for a one night transit, but I would not recommend it for any other purpose.

This place has its pluses and minuses, but overall, it’s a good value. It was clean, roomy, comfortable and had the basic amenities. The room was immaculate and the bathroom appeared to have been completely renovated, with brand new fixtures, tile floor, etc. Receptionist was friendly and helpful.

On the down side, the Internet was a bit slow at times. More significant was the situation with food. As mentioned in other reviews, there’s no restaurant in the hotel or in walking distance and you have to order in. We ordered Indian food which took almost an hour and a half to arrive, and the food was only fair bordering on mediocre. The complimentary breakfast was so-so in terms of options and quality.

Drawbacks notwithstanding, the hotel still provided very good value for the money, delivering a clean comfortable room at a competitive price when compared with other hotels in the area.

I travel a lot through JFK but never before had to stay overnight. We picked this Best Western because of its proximity to the terminals and our generally positive experiences elsewhere, but this one ruined the average. A room barely big enough to walk around the bed, a musty smell that forced us to open the window and accept the loud night-long commercial racket, a miserably small bathroom with a stall shower that must have been made for a 1970s travel trailer, people prowling the hallway outside our room all night and all-'round wear and tear to match completed the picture. NEVER AGAIN! Better to sleep in an airport lounge chair and save your money.
