My family and I stayed here in December on our way from an overseas flight to Florida. It is a short (and relatively cheap) taxi ride from the terminal but they also have a shuttle you can call. The shuttle in the morning was fast and efficient getting us to the terminal for our early flight. Rooms are comfortable and typical for Courtyard. Rates are high for what you get but reflective of the area and convenience to the airport. Would stay here again if needed for early morning flights.

Stayed there with my kids in November and the manager remembered me from then since I was back in January. Shuttle is easy ride to JFK(10 min) Just stay and save your sanity worrying about traffic if traveling far distance for a flight. Great staff and nicely renovated!!

Very good value considering its location close to JFK which is why we stayed here for one night. We got a great "last minute" deal from a major travel website. The check-in staff were efficient and friendly. Note that underground parking is $20 but the front-desk staff are clear that there are two options - pay parking or parking on the street. We were told that there are no restrictions on street parking (i.e. no street cleaning, etc.) and were able to find a spot right out of front of the hotel. We were told by the staff to ensure that we left no valuables visible in the car. Breakfast is NOT included. Wifi is free and we had a good, strong signal in our room that allowed us to make VOIP calls on our phones. My wife used the free shuttle service to the airport. Note that there are no restaurants withing walking distance. The hotel has a bar/restaurant with a limited menu - mainly appetizers and sandwiches. The staff did provide us with several take-out menus for establishments that delivered to the hotel. I forget the name of the restaurant but we chose the Indian option and it was excellent - very good food and service!

Stayed mainly because was the best hotel brand around! Was worth it...
Keep in mind that you will find the best staff ever! Is extremely close to JFK, just 15 minutes and one should not pay more than USD 15.00 (it can actually be something around USD 12.00) Free Shuttle, coffee, hot chocolate...! Internet service is free, but for some reason the wireless connection was not working as usual, but the rest was great.
