I have had the opportunity to stay in this hotel off and on for the past three years. The rate is certanily appealing and the staff is quite nice. They have been in the process of remodeling for these past 3 years and it seems things never seem to get done. New carpet in the hallway is an exciting change. Some rooms have been remodeled completly while others are almost remodeled. Meaning the room is great then you step back in time once you enter the bathroom. As indicated with other reviews this property has it's feet in the 80's and the deco to match ( in some places).

This hotel was chosen because of the convenient location to a family wedding we were going to. This hotel basically needs to be gutted and it was surprising that a chain hotel could get this bad.

The rooms smelled, there were water stains and actually water in the hallways and the rooms appeared to have not have a good cleaning in months. Other members of my family stayed there as well and their rooms were equally or worse than mine. The room is in sore need of a full update and a working air conditioner would have been good because it was very hot that weekend.

The brunch they have is ok and was one of the better things there but still not worth a trip from anywhere. The indoor pool was flithy and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned all summer (this was labor day weekend). The whirlpool was broken and I have more workout equiment in my basement then they had in their exercise room. Most the machines they did have were broken. The outdoor pool hadn't been cleaned in a while but it was a bit better. Lastly there were bugs in the room. I think I counted 5 all together which I killed but not before being woken up by one crawling on me. The price was good here but you get what you pay for, I would not recommend staying here.

Looks like a hotel right out of the 80's that might cater to frat party kids. Most of the doors on our floor were damaged in a way that looked like someone had tried to break into every room. The bathroom had old tile with a low shower head, and was touched off with a formica counter that was held up with a metal pole. The wall around the outlet was smashed and the electrical was exposed.

The furniture had seen better days, but everything worked and it was clean.

We had the buffet breakfast twice. The food was adequate, and the service was excellent.

Overall: the service was great at the hotel and the resteraunt, but the condition of the rooms and halls gave us the creeps. The room was a little overpriced in our opinion, but the buffet breakfast was a bargain. We don't have any complaints, however it is unlikely that we would stay there again.

$175 for a below-average room, lumpy&thick pillows, toilets that do not flush (in more than just our room) , and no breakfast included in the price! For the quality they offer the rate should be no more than $50.
