I stayed here while my horse was at Cornell. Very quaint and comfortable though. The furnishings are outdated, but we stayed in the room with 2 double beds, and the beds were super comfy. I brought a small fan, which drowned the noise of any traffic that other reviews may mention, but didn't notice much traffic on the road anyway?
If you want pristine, and are a germaphobe, I wouldn't reccommend staying. It's not filthy, and was plenty clean for us. I don't require starched linens and such, just a clean place to sleep. Which is just what we received.
I didn't notice any odors either. For the price you pay, it's worth every penny.
