The WHM Inn exceeded all our expectations. We spent four nights in Ithaca and would have been happy to stay another four nights. The hospitality of the staff was superior. Lynette, Dave and the crew were always onhand and happy to assist us with our queries, from giving us hand typed notes to local attractions (waterfalls, malls etc) to even doing our laundry free of charge (the fee is part of the rate). The laundry turnaround was so quick, we dropped one load off mid-afternoon and then by 7pm it was done. What amazing service!!!
We booked the Dane's room, which was very spacious and full of natural light. The room and the house is filled with ornate antiques adding to the buildings rich history.
We loved coming back in the evening to the beauitful aroma of the freshly baked cakes and cookies (thanks Dave, my hips will never forget you haha jk). The breakfasts were hearty and cooked fresh to our liking.
In terms of cleanliness, I am a cleanfreak. We have stayed in many 4-5 star hotels/inns accross the world from London to Sydney to Las Vegas to Quebec City so have plenty to compare too. I was pleasantly suprised to see fresh sheets on our bed on the second night. On another occassion, we came back early during the day and found the ladies actually cleaning our shower and bathroom. I know hotels say they do this but I have never actually sean the cleaners in the shower cleaning it properly during our stay!
We spent our evenings in our comfy bed watching the hockey on tv. If I was to nitpick the only thing that I would suggest to improve the overall experience is a plasma/lcd tv and a small bar fridge in the room. The WHM Inn is definitely the best place we have ever stayed in and is a home away from home. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend you do too.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a conference at Cornell. Our visit began without much to-do, and without much 'introduction' - but our stay was really quite wonderful. Our room was very comfortable - very spacious, lovely linens, nice amenities. (We just didn't have enough time to spend in it.) The cooked breakfasts were a real high point - two courses, with a choice of main course, thoughtfully planned and very nicely executed. Wonderful desserts available all evening (- or in the early morning!). Coffee and tea available at all times. (The coffee could have been stronger, for us - but we're strong-coffee nuts.)
I hope we have an excuse some time to go back to Ithaca - I know where I want to stay!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the WHMiller Inn about 2 weeks ago for a girlfriend getaway. What a lovely place to stay We had a wonderful time. I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. We had a beautiful room and our hostess, Lynette, was so helpful and friendly that we felt as if we had known her all our lives. The breakfasts were terrific and each evening we had our choice of deserts. I must admit we took full advantage of this treat. We could not decide which we liked best. They were all so good!

I hope to return with my husband next spring. I would have really liked to come this fall again but they were already completely booked!!

The WHM Inn deserves the amazing reviews that it gets. It is the best B&B that I have ever stayed in. The owner and staff are wonderful -- Lynnette is a fantastic host. The rooms are comfortable and charming. The location, right in the middle of Ithaca, is ideal. The breakfasts are delectable. And then there are the extras that you don't expect that just leave you looking for a way to give a 6-star rating. Like the dessert buffet that is left out for guests every evening. Naughty, but so very nice.

The next time I come to Ithaca I won't hesitate for a moment to try the WHM Inn first.
