All the negative reviews on this hotel are correct. There is a hotel almost across the street from this one that is much, much nicer. Staff at both hotels told us both hotels are owned by the same person. This Clarion is an eyesore. The parking lot is just awful. Carpeting and rooms are very, VERY dated. The entire hallway on the first floor reeks of cigarette smoke. Most of the rooms on the first floor are smoking. The free breakfast would have been nice but was nothing like the pictures on here. There was one girl who finally showed up and just made a few things. The bins were never filled. The pool was closed and had been down for at least 3 weeks according to staff. Our toilet had a ring of black mold and was rather dirty. One good thing, the beds were quite comfortable. The bedding was clean and soft. We needed help at the desk and both times the clerk was out. Once for over ten minutes... I even called and let the phone ring to no avail. The parking lot was empty and we didn't see ANY other guests our entire time there. It was a bit creepy but I can see why. This hotel is way, WAY over priced and needs serious updating or to be torn down.
