Oh my goodness. What a horrible experience. Was placed there for 2 nights due to last minute change for work. So glad that I reduced it down to one night.
Here are the problems:
a. multiple towels were stained (brown in color)
b. moldly smell of the carpet
c. no continental breakfast
d. a/c unit only blows the fan
e. desk manager was rude; I had told him that I was going to the room to take a nap (in order to get ready for a night shift) and yet he called my room plus knocked on my door to ask me a question.
f. initial quote of room was around $49. desk manager charge $98 per night.

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE.... you'll save yourself much aggrevation.

Lie in Ad. No continental breakfast. No internet connection. Not kids stay free (Charge $15 more for kids). No Coffee in room. Not enough bath towel. Spider web in room. Smell bad.

Only booked here, closest to Cooperstown for induction ceremony
NEVER would stay here again (Probably no Red Carpets any where)

Was in town for a Baptism. Checked in really late the night before. Made reservations 3 weeks before. Got to the desk a child was sleeping uncomfortably on a chair. Lobby wasn't that bad. Man behind the counter didn't even have my name in the book. Couldn't find the paperwork. Finally checked in. Had to pay $15.00 per child (2) on top of the $59.99 per night fee. Went to the room. Hallway was blocked by a ladder. Had to go back around and go through the main lobby. Got to the room. Instantly creeped out. The adjoining door was open, with guests inside. Room was smelly and kind of small. Once settled took a better look. Bugs in every corner of the room, most of them stuck in spider webs. Some were smeared on the wall with trails of blood. The TV was old the kind you would expect with rabbit ears except every channel had green picture. The carpet was a very dirty burgundy as if it didn't see soap in years. The a/c was falling out of the hole in the wall. Half of the lights had burnt out bulbs. There were no accessible outlets. The small fridge wasn't hooked up. The cord for the fridge didn't reach the socket. One of the drawer had some left over stuff that was unidentifiable. That contributed to the smell. The bathroom was the worst. The cabinet holding the sink up was rotted and falling apart. The shower had long, long hairs on the walls from the last person who showered. There was black mold all over... especially the track. The glass and handle to the glass shower door had years and years of muck buildup. This was by far the worst place we ever stayed. Had it been earlier, and not memorial day weekend... I would have left. We slept fully dressed with shoes on and on top of the covers. We showered with flip flops on and with the door open, in an attempt to not touch anything. We were woken up to an alarm of the owner and his family who seem to be living in room #16, (we were in 12) screaming at each other around 3:00 a.m. There was no continental breakfast. We checked out around 10:00 a.m. sleep deprived. Went to the front office and no one was at the counter. Finally someone came out and told me to just leave the key on the counter with the rest of them. He then walked back into the room he came out of. No thanks for coming, How was your stay? Nothing! I even took pictures of it all. Had I been in less of a rush to get a room, I would have thought to look for reviews. I feel robbed. Oh and did I mention the sheets were dirty.. found pubic hairs, holes in pillow cases and blood stains on the side of mattress? And the water wasn't clear not to mention there was none in the vending machine. This place needs to get a visit from the department of health and consumer affairs. To think by these reviews they have yet to change.
