Excellent hotel-nice room,great city view at night,and good food. I have no complaints.It's not fancy,but a nice place to stay.As an aviator,I've stayed in a lot of crew hotels,and this one fits the bill just fine.

I admit I only just checked it; but i need to warn others that may be coming. The biggest shock to me was I selected Holiday Inn Aeropuerto but it took 40 minutes from the airport to the hotel (and no I wasn't taken for a ride, that is also what the hotel told me when I called for the shuttle). The shuttle, mind you, that the hotel advertises is complimentary is another story. I called when we landed, but was told, that is only if you arrange for the shuttle in advance. They had no idea where the shuttle was when I called and recommended I take a taxi. The taxi driver had quite a time getting us to the hotel, all the roads around it are being torn up and there were detours everywhere, there was no easy way here. And the hotel is having an addition put on. Check in was fine and the staff nice. They put me in a room facing the jackhammers and i couldn't even stand it for 5 minutes it was like they were in my room. Luckily the recption changed my room. We tried to arrange, in advance, for the shuttle back to the airport in four days. Our flight is at 8:30. We were told the shuttle will bring us at 5 am and the next shuttle is at 9 am. nothing in between and recommended a taxi and turned us over to the taxi stand right there in the hotel. Sounds like a scam to me.
Now I have no idea what the alternative is for hotels in queretaro. We travel alot and try and stay somewhere we can get points. There were no marriotts or hiltons , so we ended up here.
On the good side, the views of the city are beautiful as others have reported. there is a beautiful pool and the resturant is pretty good. TV has many channels in english.
Lastly, even though I've downed 3 bottles of water, I still can taste dust in my mouth.

newer hotel. On east hillside overlooking city--room to south better view of downtown. Enter hotel on top floor; room go down hill side. Nice pool at bottom of hotel. Clean room. Helpful staff--took care of wired internet connection problem ASAP. It's what you'd expect for a nice HI in the US. Pricey buffet for breakfast but good food. We had car; drove from Mexico DF. Easy to get around Queretaro in car. Downtown Queretaro is nice, colonial, and clean air. We'd prefer this HI to one downtown--haven't stayed at downtown, though. Look forward to staying in Holiday Inn upcoming trip to Mexico.

Great location and great staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great.
