Holiday inn located adjacent to crown plaza 10 mts drive from downtown with nice view of the city especiallyin the night,The lobby is in higher elevation and the rooms are at lower elevation,the breakfast spread is value for money. has a swimming pool and health club.

The photos on the HI webpage belong to a glorious past. The hotel is on top of a mountain with an incredible view of the city, but far from centro historico. Property needs refurbishing. ask for room with city view.

This hotel was very nice and very clean. The service was excellent. The rooms were a nice size and it seemed newer or recently updated. There is construction next door at the Crowne Plaza (not much you can do about that), but the views from the room were otherwise fantastic. My room overlooked the whole city. I did notice that there were rooms on the inside -- make sure they don't give you one of those. I concur with all of the positives from the other reviewers. Now for the negatives -- the hotel is now called Holiday Inn - Zona Diamante; it is no longer an airport hotel. It is by the OLD airport, not the new one they built 5 or so years ago (according to a cabbie), so don't be fooled by the name. It is on a hill, so if you want to go anywhere, you need a cab. It is very convenient for business travelers since it's somewhat nearby the Industrial Club. Overall, a very nice hotel.

Excellent hotel-nice room,great city view at night,and good food. I have no complaints.It's not fancy,but a nice place to stay.As an aviator,I've stayed in a lot of crew hotels,and this one fits the bill just fine.
