We enjoyed our stay. Staff were great in accomodating us. We got an accessible two room suite for no extra charge. Staff recommended good restuarants. Room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Lots of choices including lots of healthy stuff. Parking was a breeze. Lots of shopping close by. We spent 5 days there.

About the only thing I could say that they could improve on would be the quality of the bed linens and they might want to spot guests a couple of bottles of water in each room. I liked the place. The rooms were big, comfortable and quiet. I found the staff to be very nice and helpful, too.

Stayed here for a week. The first night our room was changed from 1 bedroom as booked and paid for to a STUDIO a cheaper room. We were not impressed as no reason given and after a 14 hr journey from the UK we were not too happy!!! The breakfast room was busy but good that you could take away.close to central Islip LIRR for hour plus into Penn st. Smith haven mall nearby and plenty of food outlets. Room was clean and new...

Stayed at the Residence inn for one night to visit family in the area. We like these hotels for the space, kitchenette, and free breakfast. This one is modern, clean and all of the staff are exceptionally friendly. Location is also quiet. Some minor problems in that some of our reservation requests were filled, some not. We asked for early check in and got it, we asked for a higher floor and got it, we asked for foam pillows but did not get, we asked for extra towels and didn't get. Now some of this may be attributed to the fact that we checked in early so housekeeping may have not had time to prepare a specific room for us with our requests. That being said, we only had 2 towels in the bathroom for a family of 4. We asked at the front desk in the evening for more on our way to the pool. On the way back, the front desk clerk told us she notified housekeeping and that we would get more towels. They never arrived. As it was getting late and the kids had to go to sleep, we gave up and worked with 2 towels. Other than that issue, it was a good stay and we will probably stay here again. The kids loved the pool which was deserted and the breakfast is pretty good for quick and complimentary (our favorite price!).
