This was our first visit to the finger lakes region of New York State in over twenty years. Roberta was a wonderful, welcoming host; very helpful and attentive to us during our visit. Her delicious breakfasts kept us satisfied for the better part of the day. The house is nicely decorated and furnished and very convenient to downtown and local wineries. Our room was attractive, clean and comfortable. When we return to this area, we will definitely contact Roberta again.

You can not go wrong here. A beautiful period home on a quiet street in walking distance to restaurants. The home is immaculate and has high ceilings, lovely wooden staircase, moldings and other details of the era. The warm, friendly welcome made even warmer by appetizers (which included an excellent Cheddar) and a complimentary glass of Finger Lakes wine, served in an enclosed porch with lovely white wicker, and Keuka Lake a block away. Our room was en suite with a beautiful high bed, lovely linens hand made soaps. A great night's sleep The breakfast was superb (Omletes made to order). Roberta and Ralph are gracious, knowledgeable of the area and make you feel right at home. A great experience.

We decided at the last minute to stay overnight in Hammondsport on the way to another destination. Fortunately for us, Day Dreams B&B had a room available. This is a new B&B run by a mother and daughter and has a total of 4 rooms. It is located walking distance from the lake as well as downtown. We had one of the king bed rooms with a private, but not ensuite, large bathroom. As an example of how well Day dreams is run, they provide you with a very thick, terrycloth robe to use when walking to your bathroom, which is down the hall. The bed was very comfortable with noticeably high quality bedding. The room is large with flat screen television. The breakfast complete and made-to -order. The inn is spotless and ihe innkeepers extremely friendly and accommodating. All of the rooms are priced the same at $145. We were disappointed that our plans could not include staying another night.

We set out on a roadtrip at the last minute and ended up in Hammondsport, NY to check out the wine trails. We just happened to pull up to Day Dreams B&B because they had a vacancy posted on their sign. What luck! This is VERY conveniently located in town and is a fabulous value. For $149 we got a VERY clean, comfortable, air conditioned room with a bath in a very well preserved victorian home. From the bed, the towels and the free WiFi, to the breakfast and the little homemade soaps... we couldn't have been happier. The mother-daughter team is polite and friendly! We walked one block to town for dinner, night life and shopping. GREAT PLACE!
