My friends and I have been going on "Girls Weekends" each year for about 15 years now. We all agree that this place was absolutely the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The accomodations and food were excellent. Carol was so considerate--she was even able to handle my restrictive gluten-free food needs. I enjoyed it so much, that I am bringing my husband back for an anniversary trip in two weeks. I am really looking forward to being pampered again!

We recently stayed @ the B&B for the wineglass marathon. Loved the town of Hammondsport & our B&B was within walking distance of town. The charming home was well equipped & the beds were super soft. Carol has thought of every detail of a home-like stay. Coffee available 24 hrs a day, fresh baked goods, and a fabulous breakfast - we were hooked & sorry to stay for just a short time.

The proprietor of Lake and Vine Bed and Breakfast has set the bar for my standards at Bed and Breakfasts. Food, top notch, Service, again top notch. Amenities plenty, quality of the rooms, outstanding. Decorations / look / feel of the house, inviting and elegant. I would go there again and again. I need to find more reasons to go to Hammondsport, NY.
You will not be disappointed.

Rooms are comfortable, spotless and meticuously decorated !!! Mattress was awesome ! Carol is gracious, friendly and we felt like family visiting at her home. We WILL recommend and go back. We stayed for a visit to wineries and Carol offered several recommendations that were "spot on". Breakfast was amazing - gorgeous settings on the table, fabulous food (and presentation) and other guests were fun to visit with. A lovely home, hosted by a very warm and friendly proprietor. A MUST stay at and enjoy !!!
