The Bartlett House Inn is a diamond in the rough! It is absolutely flawless in all aspects, from the perfect cleanliness to the charming owners (Jack and Diane) to the decor. Although we stayed only one night, it was a stay to remember. Diane's breakfast spread was fantastic and our room was decorated wonderfully. We booked the Bartlett House as a last minute getaway and Diane was very accomodating in securing a room for us on such short notice, and at a great price. The Inn is located only a few short blocks from "downtown" Greenport where there is lots to do. There is also free parking in their adjoining lot. The grounds and the Inn are beautiful and attention was obviously paid to every detail.

We will be going back to stay there without a doubt!

My husband and I just got home from the Bartlett House Inn. Boy, what a fabulous experience we had. Jack and Diane are just wonderful people that are full of information about Greenport and the surrounding area. If you decide to go to the vineyards they have fridges on every floor for you to store your prized wine in. The fridge to the left of the front door is always well stocked with Poland Spring. The rooms are themed with artifacts from around the world. We stayed in the African room which was beautiful. The beds and pillows are so soft you'll sleep like a log. The sheets are marvelously soft and comfy cozy as well. Diane makes a different quiche every morning with the wonderful breakfast that is served from 8am to 10 am. The breakfast includes cold cuts, fruit, hot & cold cereal, bagels, english muffins. eggs and coffee. We felt like we were staying with friends they made us feel right at home from the first step in there door until the end of our stay. My husband even booked already for our first anniversary. Oh one more thing that I forgot to mention, you won't hear anyone's screaming child here, just the birds and the sound of the beautiful water feature on the marvelously wonderful wrap around porch.

Just returned from another excellent stay at Bartlett House. Great service, great breakfast, beautiful rooms (and there are 10 uniquely themed rooms to try). Greenport is beautiful and great to explore.

After giving birth to our son, we were given a getaway to The Bartlett House Inn. Boy, it came at the right time. Jack and Diane were very kind, friendly and hospitable. The very cozy clean rooms are gorgeous in every detail. I've never seen anything like it. Oh and the complimentary European Buffet Breakfast was delicious and extensive. (Diane won my husband over with her quiche, yum.) I would definitely come back for another getaway and recommend it to any one looking to visit the end of the island. Thanks Jack and Diane!
