The hotel was very quiet - 2 guest service agents at the front desk [male & female] having conversation when we checked in - not friendly at all - no welcome/greeting extended. Non-caring attitude - as if we were interrupting them by checking in. Very little info given as Priority Club member [not like other Holiday Inn we've experienced]. Priority Club lounge was closed - no sign posted ... when asked Front Desk staff - comments were made regarding hrs of operation being posted on the lounge door ... but there was no sign was posted at the door [as if I could not read ...] Female staff shouted the hrs of operation to us [6:30 to 9 pm]. We came down at 8:15 pm - lounge was closed [still no sign posted] - we were told the lounge attendant went home early because it was slow. Prior to our departure the next morning - the lounge was opened. We stopped by - encountered a 'wonderful' concierge named STELLA - she made our stay most enjoyable to finally know that at least one person representing the hotel really cares about the guests! I submitted this comment in IHG site regarding guest comment/suggestion - no response. I guess they could careless about the guest service aspect ... I'd rather spend my hard-earned money at other hotels which value and appreciate their business during this tough economic times.
