Stopped here for one night on the way to Canada. I can't remember a more disappointing hotel experience. We paid $109 for a tiny room that made us feel like we were staying in our parents' house from years ago ( we're in our 60's). The room was extremely drab and uncomfortable. The tub in the bathroom was stained, the towels were thin and scratchy and paint was peeling off the wall. The mirror was stained and the mattress lumpy. There was a small desk with a coffee maker. However, there was no outlet to plug it or a computer into. Friends in the next room had an identical experience.
The staff is about as disinterested as any I have ever seen. Nobody made eye contact or greeted us. We had trouble finding the hotel and when we called the phone rang and rang without ever being picked up. My friend, in confirming the reservation, was hung up on twice.
The building is lovely and the town cute but this hotel needs someone to manage it and some renovations. I filled out the comment card but have received no response.
