My company rented Meeting space and sleeping rooms from this Hotel in early December 2010. The hotel promised (in writing) that they would not have another competing company in the hotel the same week as we were there. Upon arrival we were shocked to see that we had been bumped to the back of the hotel and a competitor had been given the other meeting space in the hotel. After much work the GM finally asked the other group to leave. I am not one that wants to hinder any other business from doing business except for when I book exclusive space with a hotel. After the other group left is when everything really went down hill. The hotel removed chairs from our rooms saying that we didnt pay for that many chairs. The removal didnt hinder us from operating but it did mean that the people who were coming to the hotel to meet with us had to stand while they waited. I found that while they were trying to do this to hurt us they only hurt themselves. These are not only people that came to see us but also potential clients of theirs. The manager also while informing us that she was taking the chairs did this by putting her finger into the manager of the events chest. When he asked her to speak about this she then took her arm and shoved him and told him to get out of her way. The staff continued to be rude including the banquet manager Nik who at first had been great to work with. We gave this hotel over $4000 of business in 2010 but I can promise you that they will be getting $0 worth of business from me this year! They promise things and then dont keep their promises. They treat you rudely when you ask that they keep their promises.
