We stayed at this hotel during our visit to the 2009 US OPEN. The hotel is convenient to LGA Airport, and convenient to the #7 subway station, which will take you to the US Open and then on to Manhattan , but this hotel is a very basic hotel. Flushing is a real China Town, not a tourist attraction. Everything there is Chinese, so you won't find a good bagel or sandwich to eat or take to the Open. We spent one afternoon walking around, and that was plenty of time for us. After that, we spent all our time at the US Open. There is no view from the hotel, you'll hear airplanes over head, but the bathrooms and sheets were clean. The price was great (we saved $600 over our 2008 hotel bill) If this is your first time to the Open, I'd suggest you stay in Manhattan. The location was good, but I think we'll look for a little nicer hotel next year. This will help you know what to expect if you stay here.
