the review before mine is super exaggeration , that person should stay in florida where they dont understand multi dwellings that are not pastel colored , i stayed here for business with my girlfriend all the smoking rooms where booked so i had a non smoking room , so i had to go to the front of the hotel numerous times even during the nioght , i am not new to the area but this was the first time i stayed at a hotel in the area, the room was clean ac was cold room was on the small side however the staff was not overly friendly but will talk to you , i was downstairs at different times during the night sionce i have trouble sleeping in new places but my girlfriend found it ok , i saw families comee in at different times at night , as for the "prostitutes" maybe in florida since nothing goes on after 2 am , this is the city that dosent sleep , i saw commuters waiting for the bus across the street , i walked to the corner and checked out the ghetto fried chicken store but i wasnt feeling it so took a small walk to the 24 hr BK yes there are teens from the all night internet cafes in the area , yes parking does suck in the area however , no most people werent walking around in fear for there lives , neither was i , not even on the next block which happens to be a church , anyway what i didnt like about the hotel is the 2 vendin machines one is soda and one is coffee, but not a big deal dominos delivers there on weekdays till midnight and till 2 on weekends not to metnion the usual offerings on 24 hr dunkin donuts, bk, and MCd's there are also 24 hr. chinese restaurants that are open and get meals for $5 the only problem is you have to order in chinese but the staff can help you , they helped me order once wifi may be poor but they have an internet terminal only one tho and if its busy you can go a couple of doors down to the internet cafe there which is open 24/7

“A place to be if your looking for hookers!!!!!”

My elderly parents, my fiancee and I made a reservation here thinking we would be able to rest in a secure, safe and clean hotel while we stay in NYC. The location seemed to be great. This place has a parking in a back alley on a run down block. I had to walk around the block at night in fear for my life 3 times until I finally found the right place to park. The place was filthy. The bed was as hard as a rock and the sheets were not even clean. Mildew all over the bathroom. Prostitutes comming in and out the hotel and standing on the block across from it. As soon as we checked in and I finally parked my vehicle in the right spot we all went down to the lobby and checked out. The night person was looking at porn as I aproached the counter and quickly closed the window. For a moment I thought he was looking into one of the rooms with a hidden camera to be honest. He refunded our money back and we left as soon as we could. The manager then tried to charge us again for the one night we didn't stay but since she has no signature authorizing the transaction our bank will back charge her and her scum infested place.......

“Okay Hotel ...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2011

This hotel is somewhere between a 2 stars hotel for us.

We are not a big fan of the location since it is in Flushing and it takes us about least 45 minutes everyday to go into town :( However, this hotel is recommended by a friends of ours so we had no choice or idea till we got here, BIG SURPRISE!

This hotel is about 10 years old so things looks old here. It is definitely not up to international standard as soon as we walked into the room: no welcome package; room is clean but smells funny, and in fact, the whole hall way smells weird; the location is okay if you need to be in Flushing, but not okay if you are here for touring; you cannot even dial the room phone to the front desk since you have to put down a 20USD deposit to activate the phone, ridiculous, isn't it? It is free parking here but the parking lot is extremely small and requires drop off the car key to the front desk!

If you are a Chinese family that would like to be in a location like Flushing, it is not bad a location since everyone here speaks CHINESE and you almost feel like that you are in a different country. The staff can speak both Chinese and English, so it is also okay if you can only speak English.

Hope my experience can give you some ideas!

The hotel itself is hard to spot since its wedged between other buildings on a busy main street road. the place was nice quite clean and comfortable. i enjoyed my stay and im sure if your traveling to nyc through subway its a great place to stay since its right by the 7 train exit.
