“Clean, comfortable and Convenient to Long Island Railroad”

The motor lodge is actually in Long Island; borough of Queens is across the street. Last time we were in the area we stayed across the street and paid additional NYC hotel tax (as you know, Queens is part of NYC). Breakfast is adequate: donuts, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, juices, bread, bagels and English muffins, apples, coffee and tea. Coffee maker and supplies in room. Complimentary WiFi. It was windy and very cold outside, but our room was perfectly warm. Plenty of parking! Room rate was one hundred one dollars.

“Excellent place in NYC”

This hotel is actually in the Borough of Queens in New York City. You will pay a little more than a hundred dollars a night for a room that is clean, nicely appointed, and totally acceptable. The amenities are of a high quality and they provide you with things that you donot normally get such a mouthwash and a shoe wipe. You are rather close to the Long Island Rail Road (an easy walk) so you have easy access to and from Manhattan, if that is your destination.

“Floral Park Motor Lodge, a great choice”

I think that Floral Park Motor Lodge is the best option to stay in this area of ​​Queens/New York (Queens Village, Bellerose and Floral Park), especially those who want to go to Belmont Park race track (I stayed there for 8 nights). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, quiet and very clean. Cleaning and change of towels and bed linen is held every day. Great breakfast taking into consideration american standards. Reception staff very kind and considerate. The area is safe, very close to supermarket, CVS pharmacy, Staples, Subway and other restaurants. Buses at the door, about 30 minutes to and from the 179 th Street station (subway F line) to go to Manhattan (30 minutes more). LIRR train station about 10 minutes walking in a safe and beautiful residential area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on higher floor of the reception building.

Found it online and after calling three other local neighboring hotels/motels this was our best option and turned out to be likewise. The service from the people at the front desk was wonderful. The accommodations of the rooms were wonderful, from the looks on the outside were deceiving, but once in the room it was as if you were at the HILTON. I had to go to the hospital and not being from the area they got a cab service for us, on time and let us leave our luggage while at the hospital. Wonderful and would recommend to anyone. A very nice continental breakfast as well. THUMBS UP!

“Great budget option in the area.”

My husband and I stayed here less than a week ago after attending a wedding one mile up the road at the Inn at New Hyde Park. The lobby area is definitely no-frills, and the glass separating you from the employee at check-in is a bit of a shocker, but the rooms were clean and comfortable with nice furnishings. The ample parking lot is a definite plus for a motel in this area! I have absolutely no complaints about my experience here, and would not hesitate to stay again!
Also, motel is convenient to LIRR, and taxi service is quick and reliable with recommendation from employees at front desk.
