We found this hotel on priceline because it was the only hotel left due to the freak storm. This hotel has been in the area for over 30 years, for a long time it was a holiday inn. Its old, kinda smelled in the hallway, needs to be updated, walls are thin, food was good at restraunt. Check in took forever since everyone was checking in. The manager was some big dude who should have his attitude checked. The girl who helped us was doing just fine but he had to be a jerk about things. The only reason i came here is to sleep and get a shower, this place isnt worth any money. The bathrooms smell by the back door, please update this place! You can even tell where the pay phones use to be back in the day. This place needs a change, thank god it was cheap!

The Front Desk can make a big difference in the quality of my travel, so when I encounter an employee who really helps after a long day of driving and when there is a problem in the room, I am very impressed.

I like this Ramada because it has a good breakfast and is conveniently located. I usually arrive late at night. The Front Desk receptionist whose name is shana was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, even the following morning at checkout after working all night! I really appreciated her attitude and hospitality.

On Saturday October 29th my wife and I were stuck in the freak blizzard that tied up the New York/Conn area for days. Luckily, we made it to and got a room at the Ramada. We also had the good fortune of meeting a real professional member of the staff by the name of SHANA. This young woman does it all, she was working the desk in the restaurant, waiting tables and covering hotel questions all at the same time. Fortunatly for Ramada, SHANA was stuck just like us, she couldn,t go home and was there overnight, greeting and helping all the stranded travelers that wound up at your hotel. We had a wonderful meal, retired to a great shower, comfortable bed and a restful nights sleep. In the morning we left our room for breakfast and who was still going strong, thats right SHANA, still working performing her duties greeting people in the breakfast area. SHANA was going to the front desk for an additional shift when we finally were able to return to our car and continue home. SHANA deserves more than a letter from me, she is a wonderful advertisement for your chain. We will put Ramada on the top of our list when traveling and only hope there are more like SHANA working in you system. She is an outstanding employee and does deserve reward,

The recent power outage in New England forced us to seek a warm place to stay. The Ramada Conference Center in Fishkill had one room available, but we would need to change the linens. The gentleman who brought us the clean linens stayed and helped with the change. The staff at this facility were very caring. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.
