Telephoned on a Sunday evening using phone number listed in tripadvisor description and spoke with representative who identified himself as employee of hotel. After providing information, confirmation received from Venere and not what had been agreed to. Significant problem. Very deceptive and a huge problem to now resolve. Did not realize that some hotels have agreed to interception by hotels.com which is part of Expedia and, in my case, was rerouted to Venere. Didn't think calling Fishkill would end up connecting me to Rome.

Each year on New Years our family stays at a locale hotel to celebrate. We have used this hotel before because it is a great location. Walmart is in the parking lot and there are lots of other food choices. We had 4 rooms that were booked and paid for together. Unfortunately, the hotel did not block our rooms together. When I stated this was so sad to us the response from the front desk was it was busy at the hotel and she was sorry. When I went to our room house keeping was cleaning the room next to ours and I am not sure why we couldn't at least be on the same floor. That being said the stay was great. The pool was warm & clean. There were plenty of towels. Our room was huge for our family of 4. The fact that young children can go to sleep behind a closed door and adults can unwind with a movie is priceless.
As is often the case w/NYE there were individuals who really were partying too hard and getting sick in the hotel. The hotel staff did a wonderful job at trying to cope with people who act like idiots & having to clean up after them.
There was no noise we heard at night and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The omelet bar was great. They could use a waffle maker of toaster pancakes.
We will stay there again.

The hotel is clean, and the beds are comfortable. Furniture is a bit dated, but nothing horrible. The free breakfast was not good - powdered eggs, weird flat tater tot/hash browns (?) and really bad coffee. There was no wi-fi and no room safe. The pool was fine, nice size and the pool area was clean. Really average hotel at an average price.

I couldn't be more pleased. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the accommodations were clean and comfortable.
