Room was dirty. Towels were tissue paper thin. You get only one complimentary serving of coffee for your entire stay. Water pressure was non-existent. Linens were stained and so was the mattress. Four of us stayed in two seperate rooms and it cost us 119.00 per night per room. Bathroom floors were filthy. Tub had pubic hairs in it. All other rooms in the area were booked so we were stuck with staying here. TV didnt work. Should i go on? And then the fight started.

Wish I could rate this hotel, but although I made reservations 2 months in advance and held them with a credit card they canceled my reservation with out warning. Manager didn't even care and only sought to justify the action and refused to make it right. Completely unacceptable! Don't waste your time or money. There are too many other quality hotels in Fishkill.

Hi. I needed a room for one night and go the Extended StayAmerican in Fishkill on priceline for $40. Great deal for the going rate in the area, which is $90.
All rooms are studio type efficiencies..small kitchen. My room was on the 1st floor right off the lobby. Probably the priceline type rooms, but seeing as the place was empty, they could have gave me something better. As it's extended stay, no daily cleaning service, but I was there only one night so didn't care. Web access is $4.99 per day, which I think is good for the whole stay, which is great if you're there for a few days, but not as great as free. One problem..I never got my wakeup call, but the alarm in the room worked. For $40 I'd stay there again, but not much more.

We were looking to stay at a Hudson River Valley location that was close to Cold Spring, New York. We book the hotel within a few days of travel on Priceline.com. I was able to get the room for $70.00 a nite, which I thought was a great value because on the hotel web site the room goes for $119.00. The hotel is rated 2 stars. The facilities are very clean and so was the room. This is a basic place. We had a mini kitchen but for just staying there one nite.. did not use. The only thing I did not like was that they gave us a handicap room (sign on the door) which made the basic room look more like a dorm or hospital room. Most likely we were were given that because of the priceline booking. I did not try to change it as we were there just one nite. There are plenty of stores and places to eat very close to the hotel. Actually Walmart and Sams Club are across the street. A Vist to Cold Spring is a must. Such a cute town. Make sure you eat at the Train Depot.
