Craftsman Inn is a nice hotel. Nothing fancy but has a lodge feel quality to it. Cozy lobby and rooms. Rooms on the smaller side. Comfortable bed. Bathrooms are very small and very low water pressure. Feels like an individually owned hotel rather than a chain type feeling. Hallway carpets and elevator need a cleaning and leave a not so clean impression at first, however the rooms are very clean. Creaky wood floors beneath the carpet add to the charm. Plenty of stores and food options across the street and in walking distance. Great little Restaurant attached to property. Wireless internet is very weak from several of the rooms. All in all a nice stay.
Great room. Nice seating area with couch and fridge. Nice jacuzzi but shower definately lacking in water pressure. Bed is huge and sooo comfy!. Hotel is definately unique. If you are looking for a nice room at a good price in a hotel that is not cookie cutter this is the place. Restaurant has great food and other great shops and restaurants nearby. Would definately stay here again.
Comfy bed, in the middle of no where but shopping Cross the street
Stayed here on a recent visit to see family after hearing from my parents what a nice place it was...come to find out that the last time they stayed there was TEN yrs ago and things definitely changed...for the worst. Was so excited to stay and boy was it a huge letdown. Room was small and felt/looked dirty. Lifted the cover at the end of the bed to find huge stains all over the end of the white comforter. Assuming it was coffee stains and trying not to think about other possibilities. Forget about using the hairdryer. The end of the plug was all shattered that I don't know how a fire wasn't started. The room just felt musty and old. I was awake all night worried something was going to come out and crawl on me. Feel bad that our 2 yr old son slept on it (he was comfortable but he didn't know any better!). For the amount that the room cost I would have expected better. The front looks cute but than you drive around the side and it's all worn looking. I would definitely look around and stay elsewhere. Huge letdown.
