I just stayed on East Hampton House and was the second time in less then six months.
The hotel is situated on a great peice of east hampton property and is very well manicured.
The larger room we stayed in, was recently updated and overall very nice.
One thing that needed an update for sure, was two involving basic technology.
People working here are very geniune.
Hotel offers you a free pass to the local private beach.
Choose the private one up the road., not the busy one that all the tourist go to.
A modern hotel room in the upscale town of east hamton, you would expect it to have an
HDTV of some measure. Maybe not the highest end model but not a old fashion analog
tube tv. And the other stand out issue needing to be address at this very nice hotel.
This hotel offers free wireless internet. I was reminded once I gained access to the internet on my mac book pro that the service is weak and does not work well.
I tried to stream music via my JBL radio, both last time and this visit.
Sadly the internet connect is weak and seems to be a poor form of DSL at best.
Why a hotel in such a fancy town, with nice grounds and overall great not invest in HDTV and Verizon Fios and some quality routers is beyond me.
If I stayed here for many days, I would have got pissed at this issue.
Also would be nice to have more then one ice machine on premises.
Tennis courts are great and I still like this hotel more then other mid priced Hampton
lodgings but some basic investments/improvements needs to be updated for me to return
again.

Thanks for the feedback. We have been working on replacing all of the TV's and we are 95% done with that effort. All rooms will have HD tv's in the room this summer. Also, FIOS is not available yet in East Hampton. We use Cablevision which has many options along with HBO and the TV service is excellent. We just upgraded our wireless connections and continue to offer free access and we have a much better signal.
