Keep in mind that this is a relative review. For a hotel by an airport this is a very good one.

Pluses: prompt shuttle every 15 minutes, clean rooms, good front desk service for New York (all things are relative), reasonably quiet

Minuses: bathroom is a little outdated

Stayed a few nights for business. Room was smallish but clean. Everything worked. Internet was quick enough, and hard-wired via supplied cable. Nice flat-screen TV. This is an older property but is well-maintained. Check-in was quick. Bill was accurate. Staff was exceedingly friendly. Frequent free hotel-supplied shuttle-buses take passengers to and from New York-LaGuardia Airport, just across the freeway from the hotel, a few minutes away. Hotel is not near any restaurants (walking distance) but is serviced by buses #23 and #48 to train line #7, which runs directly to Manhattan Midtown. 5th Avenue and Times Square are a quick trip away. One can purchase inexpensive tickets from reception. This is a good choice if one wants to be near the airport. This is not an inexpensive hotel, but then this is New York City.

Spent one night there. Room is too small. Carpet smelled terrible. Elevators creepy. Restaurant too expensive. Room was too warm, I set temp at 70 but room was still too warm. Bed was comfortable and seemed clean, I didn't check for bugs because I was too exhausted from a long overseas flight. Front desk help was not very friendly, however, bellman was nice and courteous. Airport shuttle driver was rude, that why I did not tip. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel was nice and clean. It was very convenient to the airport, and the shuttle was easy to use. The best perk was that if you get a room on the 7th floor, you have access to the concierge lounge which has a complimentary breakfast and evening snacks.
The morning restaurant's breakfast was also good but a bit expensive. The bar's food in the evening was adequate but the service was EXTREMELY slow. It wasn't even full with people, and it took us nearly two hours to have a late dinner there. Plus, the drinks, which are a bit expensive, tasted very watered down.
Also, on the downside, I don't understand how a hotel in this day and age doesn't offer free wireless internet. You can get free internet at a Holiday Inn but not a Marriott?! What's up with that? It seems the hotels that you pay more for actually offer less.
Also, just fyi - my husband noticed that if you buy a coke in the snack store by the front desk, it's actually more expensive than if you buy one from the drink machines.
So, overall, nice room and lobby, decent food, but they need to offer free internet and they need to improve their service in the bar!
