Basic no frill hotel with great location near LGA airport. Hotel is clean with a very welcoming lobby area. Free Continental Breakfast with many choices. The hotel staff-- from the courtesy van drivers, bartenders/waiters and front desk help could not have been nicer. They are what make the hotel "excellent".

If you're flying and using LGA, this is the best hotel for the price. Yes, it's true the hotel is a little bit old, but if you're not much around at the hotel room, like we were, because we went to Manhattan and came back late, then this is the best place. If you're not going to be hanging around, except to shower sleep, wake up next morning, have breakfast and go about your business, then this is the best place around new york you can get. We were checked in early since our flight arrived around noon, and that was great, we had a midnight flight and arrived at noon, so after a long flight of 12 hours, and letting us check in early was a great blessing. Kudos to the staff.

Breakfast is good for a complimentary, continental one, you have coffee and at least two kinds of juices, cream cheese and bagels, white and rye bread,danish pastries, three to four kinds of muffins, cereal, yogurt, apples, oranges, and bananas, so it's not that bad if you are spending a few nights here.

Good thing is that this hotel is near the bus stop that goes to Flushing if you want to go to Chinatown, and it's not that close to Manhattan, real time is about 90 minutes including the walk and the wait at the bus stop right across the bridge. So it really pays if you're out all day out in Manhattan.

Wifii worked perfectly in our room, our room was sizable for New York, the heat was working when we were there, and we didn't even need it. Bathroom amenities are alright, your standard drying soap, and oil sucking shampoo, which leaves your hair very dry. You can also brew the coffee they provide, not that good, but it's good to know it's there. There is an ironing board and iron supplied if you need take care of your shirts or suits.

Bed was very comfortable, and clean, chances that you get bedbugs or any of other crazy exaggerations from other reviews is very slim, look at the majority of the reviews and you'll know that odds are really against getting bad service. I hope you enjoy this place because it's really the best deal around the area.

I booked this room at the last minute using an app on my phone. The pictures and reviews seemed okay, so I thought. I was in a hurry and didn't read all the reviews. The place was a little hard to find using mapquest but it's right across from the airport. There is a bar/restaurant in the lobby. Other than that if you want food they have lots of vendors who deliver but there's nothing to eat in the area. There is a shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes to the airport which is across the street. What I didn't like about this hotel was that it is very dated. There isn't even a comforter on the bed but instead a blanket. You can hear the traffic passing by and there was a really bad odor in the room as if they didn't wash the sheets. I complained and the staff was very nice and moved me to another room that didn't smell quite as bad. I ordered pizza and ate at the bar since the smell in the room made me lose my appetite. I wouldn't stay here ever again but for someone on a budget that isn't very picky with rooms this might be okay. I got this room from the iphone app called hotel tonight for $130 on a Sunday night. Luckily I was only there for a few hours and stayed up talking to my friend. This place would be okay if they used fresh linens and had a comforter on the bed and got rid of the odor in the rooms.

I recently held a series of events at LaGuardia Airport Hotel. Not only did the sales staff make it affordable to hold the event, the entire catering staff worked their tails off to provide excellent, friendly, accommodating service. One of our event attendees commented that they had never seen a staff work so hard and enjoy their work together so much.

This place is quiet, clean, affordable, and welcoming.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
