“A secluded gem.”

This hotel was well kept-up. The only problem was the whirlpool which was not in operation on the night of our stay. This was a big disappointment. The lone employee could not get it working and could not reach a maintenance person for help. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly. If I could not get a hotel in Buffalo, I would easily drive the extra distance to this hotel which is only approx. 20 min. south of I-90. Lots of interesting restaurants and shops in the area,

Room Tip: This hotel is located in a quiet area. Ask for a room on the south side--away from the street.

“'spensive night's sleep”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

Having spent some of my youth in this town, this was the first time I actually stayed in paid lodging in East Aurora. The hotel sits on the same land that used to house the local Mercury dealer; where my dad bought his new '55 convertible.

Nostalgia aside, this Hampton was as unremarkable as any other, except for cost. The Hamptons in Montreal, Quebec charge the same or less. $149 a night, at best, or 25,000 points is a horse pill to swallow.

Price aside, the Inn is convenient to Main Street and its attractions as well as a good number of coffee shops and restaurants; all within an easy 10 minute walk.

Room Tip: The 'Olean Street' side rooms can be quite noisy.

“Nice hotel in small town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

Great service and outstanding pool/hot tub and workout facility. Breakfast was what you expect for a Hampton Inn. Rooms are a little on the small side but very comfortable and clean. Front desk was friendly and helpful with restaurants in town.

“Room was okay but everything else was a bit lacking”

Stayed in a nice two-room suite here for a couple of nights. Space was great, the front desk was friendly and efficient, the accommodation itself (room, bathroom, etc.) was fine. Coffee maker needed a little cajoling but it got there. Elevator up to the room was a bit slooooooooow

The breakfast in the morning was adequate though not as good as some Best Westerns at which I've stayed. Could have used some hot food that wasn't as artery-clogging in nature.

The gym would have been much better if the elliptical machine were operable. That was a huge bummer.

The indoor pool area looked small but was clean and well-kept.

The parking lot being adjacent to a graveyard had me a little creeped out.

Room Tip: Ask for a two-room suite if available

“"Home Away from Home"”

We are a family of fairly well seasoned travelers and were not sure what to expect when the Hampton opened in the town I grew up in. We have stayed here at least 15 times over the past 5 years. It has been nothing short of a wonderful experience each time. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping to the "breakfast ladies" could not be any warmer and friendly. Not only is the hotel tastefully decorated, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The kids love the pool, computer room, snack shop and arcade along with the free hot chocolate and evening cookies. The lobby is warm and inviting with plenty of seating. Last week-end we returned to the hotel from a wedding and sat out in the comfy sofas nibbling on complimentary cheese and crackers while drinking tea
with family members who were in town. There is also a lovely library with an assortment of reading material. The free breakfast is a major hit with all of us and I must admit, there is a huge variety. CNN is always playing on the big TV and there are plenty of complimentary newspapers as well. To top it off, the location cannot be beat. It is located just a block off Main Street, so you can walk everywhere, but yet it is peaceful at night. PERFECT!!

Room Tip: We always request a first floor room, away from the elevators. So convenient for constant coming and...
