Noisy, smelly (old AC), nice staff, no complaints for the continental breakfast, housekeeper fine but not much she could do about the moldy smell. Old linens getting thin and rough. Lots of students there so interesting breakfast mates. They didn't seem to like the hotel either and complained about a dumpster crashing all night. It was the factory whistle that blew early in the morning, little kids running the halls, and an uncomfortable bed that kept us awake. WiFi was slower than my dial up used to be.

while the location can't be beat if your seeing the glass museum this hotel was less than expected. I specifically inquired re: the pools when reserving the room. On check in I saw the whirlpool was closed was was assured the pool was heated. We went to the museum arriving back for a swim around 8. The pool was freezing! The very young girl @ the desk said the pool heater was working but she didn't know what temperature it was set. Going back to the room I turned down the beds to find 1 properly made & the other wrinkled, bottom sheet off the corners looking slept in. I called the desk & was told the she was alone there & would be up shortly. Upon inspection she provided us w/ clean sheets for the bed & said she would speak to HK. All in all it was more trouble than expected.

The staff wasn't the friendliest but overall, I'd stay here again. The location is walking distance to the Corning Glass Museum and located right next door to a bakery.

I stayed at the Days Inn, Corning NY last fall with friends as a visit to the Fingerlakes area and to see the fall foliage. My stay was very enjoyable. I found the room to be in great condition and very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast is an added bonus. I had some questions about the area and points of interest and I found the manager very helpful, professional and courteous. He happily provided me with information that added to the enjoyment of my visit. I would definitely recommend the Days Inn to anyone visiting the area.
