We arrived late at night. The guy at the desk was very helpful. The rooms are fair and simple. They have all necessary amenities such as tv, nice, clean bathroom and shower. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very spacious. The location was very good. It is right near the highway and the Museum of Glass.

My Aunt is in a wheelchair and we wanted to take a family vacation. I called the hotel directly so nothing would get confused. Booking 2 double rooms with one being handicapped accessible. When we get there they tell us that none of the double rooms are handicapped accessible but we could rent another room for an additional fee per night! I said we are on a budget and this is not our mistake they should give us another room. They refused and I had to lift my Aunt to and from the bathroom the whole trip. Also the pool was filthy and the jaquzzi was out of order. I called the 1800 we don't care number and they said it is privately owned so there is nothing they could do. This was no vacation for my family at all!

I booked with this hotel 7 months in advance though Expedia, for the August 12,13,14 2011 NASCAR race in Watkins Glen. After reading bad reviews about the hotel, I contacted Days Inn, Corning to confirm my reservation on 08/02/2011. I was told by the RUDE male at the front desk that I HAD NO RESEVATION FOR AUGUST. He told me that that the room rate was wrong so all the reservations were cancelled by Days Inn. The tone of his made it sound like this was a very funny and I was not the first one to call. I would like to THANK Expedia, they found me another hotel in the area and handled the situation like professionals. Also thank you, Trip adviser for your Hotel reviews.

From the moment I checked in at this hotel the stay was awful. The front desk screwed up my reservation and within in the first 30 minutes of being at the hotel, checked me out and then tried to bill my credit card after all ready recieving the money due to the checking me out. It took them until the next day to let me know what happened and demanded I pay cash or be arrested for stealing and theft. I talked to my credit card company and Days Inn Corning had been paid. The hotel tried to get $400.00 out of me for their mess up and then the hotel manager was rude and left in the middle of the mess caused by him and no one else. The room was a queen size room that was the size of my kitchen at my apartment. No room to move and the manager could case less about my problems. He just wanted his money and nothing else. I would never stay here again and have complained to the corporate at Days Inn and they are investigating the problem. Go somewhere else is all I can say.
