Stayed in Cottage J for one night over Columbus Day weekend. I actually booked Cottage E but was moved to Cottage J for a lake view since it was available, which I much appreciated. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The deck had a great view of the lake. The cottage was exactly like the pictures provided on the website, so you won't have any surprises. We did not have much time to utilize the other amenities provided as we were only in town for 1 night. We were warned while checking in that a few lady bugs were found in the condo when it was cleaned before our arrival. We were told to alert the office if they became a problem during our stay. We did see 2 lady bugs in the cottage, but they did not bother us at all. You are in the woods on a lake, some bugs will happen regardless of how clean the cottage is kept. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. They recommended a place in town to eat breakfast, and it was quite good (Doubleday Cafe). There is also a large, friendly dog behind the desk who loves visitors, so make sure to say hi before you leave.

Last minute get away for colombus weekend. Was able to get 2 bedroom cottage for reasonable rate. Apple & pumpkin picking, wine tasting, nearby. Cottage was rural but clean. Great views canoe or kayak free. Son had great time fishing, caught a pike. Staff was friendly. Relaxing and quiet 3 day weekend enjoying outstanding foliage.

We went there for a getaway for our anniversary, & everyone was so friendly & helpful. They went above & beyond to help us out! We stayed in Cottage I, which was absolutely perfect & the view from the deck was incredible! We think we're going to make this an annual trip for our anniversary.

The cottage was clean and cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful with places to shop and eat in Cooperstown. We will definitely be back!
