We stayed two nights at the Villa Serendip and it was a fantastic experience. We stayed in the Victorian Bride's room, and found it beautifully decorated, very clean, with a spacious bathroom. It was a very quiet home, in a quiet location. Although it seems to be in "the middle of nowhere" it was just a short drive to the Keuka Lake wine trail and other Finger Lakes attractions. We had a package which included breakfast and dinner. Fran's cooking is top notch! Creative recipes, meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and excellent service. You will not leave hungry! Fran is a very gracious hostess, and was very helpful with any need we had. We so enjoyed the character and the charm of the old Victorian home and the history that she shared with us. I highly recommend the Villa Serendip!

This is the way all bed & breakfasts should be, THE BEST!!! We went there for our honeymoon and left feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated, we really found ourselves again. Not a care in the world while you are there. Fran (the owner & hostess) takes care of EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want. The food is delectable, I mentioned that breakfast was like a circus in your mouth and everyone is performing!! Beautiful house and gardens, we felt like we were a million miles from home and it was only an hour away. We will definitely be back again and again. There is no reason to look for another bed & breakfast, THIS IS THE ONE!!!

I highly recommend anyone to stay here. The moment I walked into the house I was taken by the fashionable victorian decor. The owner greeted us with a smile and spent time chatting with us. My daughter was with us since we were visiting family in "Italy Valley" My husbands mother was having surgery and we were tired and stressed from the drive. I can sincerely say that I immediately relaxed and felt welcome in this home. My daughter fell asleep within 5 minutes of laying down in one of the beds. In all I give this bed and breakfast top notch ratings for relaxation, decor, comfort, cleanliness and just plain hospitality. If you not sure about the others this place is worth the time, effort and money.

The Villa Serendip offers one a place to relax in an inviting 19th century atmosphere. Fran is a gracious, welcoming and accommodating hostess. She is always striving to make your visit the best it can be with her invaluable travel advise and suggestions for dining out.
Her breakfasts are amazing…scrambled eggs, bacon, crepes, quiche, etc…. expect something different every morning.
Fran's Victorian era home is rich in history. It was built in the 1860's by the Woodworth family and it was restored to it's former glory when Fran purchased it in the 1990's. There is a photo book in the parlour that methodically details the restoration that was done.
You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay at the Villa Serendip. Fran is one of the most passionate Bed & Breakfast hostesses that we have had the pleasure of meeting. If we get a chance to go back to the Finger Lakes, we'll come back in a heartbeat.
