The Villa Serendip offers one a place to relax in an inviting 19th century atmosphere. Fran is a gracious, welcoming and accommodating hostess. She is always striving to make your visit the best it can be with her invaluable travel advise and suggestions for dining out.
Her breakfasts are amazing…scrambled eggs, bacon, crepes, quiche, etc…. expect something different every morning.
Fran's Victorian era home is rich in history. It was built in the 1860's by the Woodworth family and it was restored to it's former glory when Fran purchased it in the 1990's. There is a photo book in the parlour that methodically details the restoration that was done.
You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay at the Villa Serendip. Fran is one of the most passionate Bed & Breakfast hostesses that we have had the pleasure of meeting. If we get a chance to go back to the Finger Lakes, we'll come back in a heartbeat.

Anyone who wants to be treated special and fed well needs to stay with Fran! We have seen other Bed and Breakfasts in the area and Fran's is unique! We will always stay at the Villa Serindip as long as Fran owns it!

Fran is among the best hostesses in the B&B world. She makes everyone feel welcome and is full of great suggestions for things to do. The Inn is beautiful & comfortable and has a great story behind it. Breakfasts are terrific - inventive & delicious.

My husband & I stayed here for a Valentines getaway and we could not have been more pleased. Fran makes this B&B experience absolutely unforgettable. Victorian Brides Dream Room was lovely and very romantic. It was our favorite room even more so than the jacuzzi room w/ fireplace. The meals were FANTASTIC and we really felt pampered the entire weekend. We have stayed in many four daimond B&B's and I have to say that this one is just as good if not better in providing hospitality. This is definitely a place to rejuvenate romance! The area is lacking in good restaurants however but we did find an absolute GEM - The Brown Hound Bistro was incredible! Very small so you probably need reservations,the food and atmosphere were perfect!
