We stay here in August when we go to Saratoga Racetrack, and again in October when we go leaf-peeping. We've been staying at this same place for 5 years now, and it's always the same high quality. Clean rooms, good breakfast, helpful front desk. Convenient location. And I love the pool and whirlpool.

I was in town with a hockey team. The hotel was convenient, with easy access to the interstate and the ice rink. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, typical of Hampton Inn properties. The shower had good height and water pressure. Although there was wireless internet, I used a cable and plugged into their wired connection; the speed was excellent. The hotel was amenable to our group using the breakfast room for a post-game meeting/meal, and the complimentary breakfast the next a.m. was a big hit. Several parents complimented me on the hotel choice. I would stay here again, whether by myself or with the group.

I've had mixed experiences at Hampton Inns so I was wondering what this one would bring to the table. I was somewhat surprised. Hotel was in very good shape. The room (201) was clean and spacious. The breakfast was typical for a free amenity but the eating area was very clean. The fitness center was sparce. One eliptical, one treadmill, a wall mounted tv and a few free weights. Location was fine for what I needed. It is about 15 minutes outside of Albany. There are plenty of chain restaurants as well as a few local places nearby. The pizza place across the street is very good. There is also a large strip mall within walking distance with a Kmart, Kohls and several other smaller stores. The price of $109 was a rate for a local company. I wouldn't go any higher than that. All in all, I'd stay here again.

Spent a four day weekend enduring - desk clerks with more attitude than common sense; breakfasts that make you want to fast longer; a whirlpool with no whirl; a pool about six inches shallow; a bath tub with the finish scoured off; a vent fan to no where. The room was average clean, the beds were very comfortable, TV and wireless were great - until they cancelled my long in several hours before checkout - Monday morning emails - NOT. Other pool guests commented it would be their last stay at this location. As a Hilton Honors member I requested the Hampton Inn 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - they offered 33%. So long Hampton, Hilton.
