First time at this hotel and I found it to be a very enjoyable stay.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chester less than one hour from New York City and a short drive from Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

we stayed here during a storm. i have to tell you that this place was like a beacon in the darkness. while we were lucky enough to get a room at the last min., there were people flooding in from the road, where there were many cars stopped or stalled. the hotel welcomed them, even though they were out of rooms, with open arms. people bunked down in the hallways, or sat in the lobby and breakfast area. quite a sight, and very reassuring to say the least.
all of that said, most of the desk staff were wonderful except for one young clerk. he was willfully unhelpful, left the phones to ring, didn't bother to help with charges when we asked, and royally screwed up our charges. it took us hours to sort out the extra day's charge he left on our bill. furthermore, he refused to grant us a simple request, which would've made life easier for us...
overall, though, we look to this hotel to help us when we are stranded and the electricity fails. they take pets, are wonderfully relaxed. the rooms are reasonably clean, if not a little worn around the edges, and they are very welcoming. you won't go wrong staying here, i assure you. just be careful of the staff, if you think they're not paying attention, you're right, they aren't.

this is a place that fits all ur needs and no luxury , i am a priorityclub gold member and accordingly i stick to holiday inn hotels as much as i can . the breakfast is fine and the business center with free printer allows you to print all coupons for woodburry . parkinfg is fine and area includes a lot of restaurants and gas stations

There was nothing too exceptional about this place, but it was nice and I would recommend it to others. We rented two rooms and each had good experiences; the beds were nice and comfortable, the rooms were large and well-appointed, there was free wi-fi and the breakfast buffet was good, with ample selections.
