This hotel is very well run. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was great. It has a nice indoor pool and whirlpool. The only downside is no queen size beds. Most hotels offer queen size beds today. It was very nice having the fridge in the room. The location is great. Walden Galleria is just across the road. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room. The interstate is nearby. So a room at the opposite end would be preferred.

I appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel. Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed our On the House® complimentary breakfast; we do offer a variety of options and keep them plentiful throughout our breakfast hours. I understand people are becoming more and more accustomed to finding queen size beds in hotel rooms and that extra 6 inches can be meaningful. The good news is that when our next renovation cycle occurs we too will likely convert to the queens. In the mean time we appreciate your business and hope our service and facility, aside from the bed size, met your approval. We do have a wonderful location whether you are traveling on business or pleasure and are in close proximity to many restaurants and the Walden Galleria Mall. I want to thank you for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you the next time you are in Buffalo!

My family and I are frequent travellers to the Buffalo airport area but have never stayed at Hampton Inn Buffalo Airport until recently. We ended up being pleasantly surprised by many aspects of this hotel chain. Just to name a few, we were quite impressed by: the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the premise and comfort of the beds, the added amenities (i.e. WIFI, 24/7 self-serve complimentary hot beverages, business centre), proximity to many restaurants, shops and highways. We didn't have a chance to use the indoor pool/hot tub and fitness facility but they appeared adequate and inviting. An arcade/game room will certainly be helpful. We are glad that we chose to stay at the Hampton Inn Buffalo Airport and will definitely be back in the future.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn Buffalo Airport hotel many times and have had a wonderful experience each time; for the price of the room you cannot find any better anywhere else. The pool and hot tub are clean and spacious.
The rooms are updated and very clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. You couldn't ask for a better location, ery convenient for shopping; close to Walden Galleria, Walmart, Target etc. and restaurants.
I would definately recommenc this Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a comfortabel, clean hotel.

My wife and I made reservations at the Hampton Inn on Walden Ave. in Buffalo through our travel agent. The booking was confirmed for a two night stay with a king size bed. Upon our arrival we were informed they did not have a room with a king size bed, only a double. We informed them this would not do and wanted our reservation honoured. They repeated they only had a double not a king size and they were all booked up. They informed us they would call another Hotel for us but we informed them we wanted too stay in the immediate area, so the desk personnel called the Marriott Residence hotel just across the street. They could accomodate us with our request. The Hampton people informed us that we would not be charged for cancellation. I'm not sure how they were even going too charge us for something they could not honour. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels over the years but never have we had the displeasure of the way this situation was handled by the Hampton Inn staff. Not once did they say they were sorry........they just said all they have to offer is a room with a double bed. Needless to say, we will never again book a reservation with that hotel again.

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments on our Trip Advisor site. I am sorry to hear that you stayed at another property due to your room type request not being able to be offered. After reviewing your room reservation and speaking with the front desk agents working that evening, I found that you had booked a king smoking room and were interested in a non-smoking room. As we were very close to selling out that evening the only room type that we had was a non-smoking was a room with one double bed, not a king bed. We understand the desire to have a non-smoking room with a king size bed, which is why the front desk assisted you in finding a hotel that had your desired room type. We want all our guests to truly enjoy their time in Buffalo even if that means finding them a different hotel that better fits their needs. I am sorry that the front desk did not apologize for not having a different room type to move you to. Thank you for your time and we hope you give us am other chance the next time you are in Buffalo.

“Hampton Inn delivers a good experience for the money!”

Reviewers know that I usually stay in 4-5 star hotels but when my daughter and I go cross-border shopping into Buffalo, we always stay here. The rooms are clean, the TV is large and flat-screened, there is a coffee-maker in the room, a pool, breakfast is included and everything is super clean. The staff at the front greet you warmly and there are always fruit, coffee and freshly baked cookies when you arrive. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but for what it is, Hampton Inn always delivers on its promise.

P.S. I find these beds to be the most comfortable anywhere!
