This was the worst hotel ever under the Choice hotel band.
The room was dirty (coffee grinds in sink), the lamps on either side of the bed were not plugged in & one shade was badly broken with a burnt out bulb. We tried to plug them in & the headboard fell off the wall. Called front desk, repair man arrived showed up & fixed what he could (not much). We asked the front desk for another room & were told there were none awailable. There was no manager on duty.
The TV reception was poor & we could only watch a few channels. When looking for an extra pillow in the dresser the drawer fell off and apart in my hands.
The toilet when flushed squealed & ran for a long time. The bathroom door & frame was so warped it did not close.
And to top all of this off there was no hot water. We called the front desk & were told someone would come up. Well, we waited & waited & no show.
I tried to call the 1-800 choice hotels number while in our room, but the phone would not allow outside calls. Called front desk & told them that & the woman said "Oh, I guess we're still having problems with our phones, I'll notify the repair man.
Decided to check out right away & for the second time there was no manager. Of course they passed our credit card & without a manager there to voice our complaints to we left very angry.
What a crappy place!
The Corporate office of choice hotels refunded us in full when no one from the actual hotel would reply to the 72 hour response time required from corporate headquarters when a complaint is logged.
