Who says you "can't go back"? Although we stayed just one night at the Catskill Motor Court, it was a trip back in time. What seems like a life time ago, I spent many summers in the Catskill mountains. Glad to see a place like this is still around. While you could stay in chain motels nearby, this place offers the charm and relaxing atmosphere that I associate with the Catskill region. From the manicured lawns, the spotless rooms and the friendliness of the owner (sorry, didn't get her name), everything was perfect. I would stay here again (and probably will). I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing and reasonable place in the Catskills. Perfect.

we stayed on Columbus day weekend with 4 teens and the motel was in a great place to go see lots of things, Marie was great for directions and advice on places to eat and things to see...we will be back next year ..

My family and I have been vacationing in the majestic Catskills for more than 20 years. For the past few, we have been fortunate enough to extend our holiday to an entire, glorious month! We would not even think of staying anywhere else but the Catskill Motor Court because it continues to excel in its service to guests. Our annual visit to the mountains is always enhanced by the warm welcome we receive from moteliers Marie and Fred Rossmann (and before them from Ann and Jack Rossmann), whose geniality and attention to detail is well known to legions of satisfied customers, who return time and again with friends and loved ones for a kid-friendly, gratifying and affordable retreat from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives. Surrounded by an emerald empire of picturesque peaks and lush woodlands, the motel and its grounds are meticulously maintained, complete with clean, well-appointed rooms and cabins; a gurgling stream, a sparkling swimming pool, a fun playground with swings for the young and the young-at-heart(!), and lush secluded seating and picnic areas from which to soak in the sun, the moonlit skies and the galaxy of stars, which seem within a hand's reach away on a clear night. The accomodating staff - including maids Jesse and co. - offer the utmost courtesy and privacy, and are clearly trained not to make guests feel rushed or stressed in any way. We highly recommend the Catskill Motor Court because it has offered us a wonderful lodging experience for more than two decades (and hopefully many more), and kindled lasting friendships with people we might not have otherwise had the pleasure of meeting. We can't wait for next year; in part for the welcome break, and in part to see the Rossmanns and the Catskill Motor Court again. I have never stayed in such a clean motel. Every thing was spotless and worked. The owners are very helpful for any directions.
