The rooms ar rustic and basic but very clean. There are no real amenities but that is not what this place purports to have. The rooms and cabins have comfortable beds, a tv, phone and bathroom. There is an outdoor pool and lovely grounds. Coffee is available in the morning.
One would stay here while touring the Catskill mountain region either for one night or use this motel as a base to tour the area.

This was a nice change of pace from chain hotels. Very unique 1950's style motel. We enjoyed our stay for the night, but the water was "soft." Convenient to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner and little diner for breakfast. Just don't expect perfection, but a lot of character! Friendly owners.

The Catskill Motor Court was a great choice for a weekend trip up into the Catskills. We didn't spend too much time there, but had a good experience. Marie greeted us warmly when we arrived and told us about some of the attractions in the area. Since we were a party of three Marie made sure we had a room with two beds plus a pull out sofa bed. The room itself had furniture that was older but it was very clean! It was also very easy to find, a big plus since we arrived at night. At 70 dollars a night, if I do return to the Catskills I would definitely stay here again!

The most relaxing, friendliest, cleanest and laid-back home-away-from-home in Greene County. I prefer staying here to many expensive, highly rated resorts and hotels. Marie and Fred are awesome, the rooms are so comfortable, the rates are beyond affordable. It's a 'Cheers'-like atmosphere, where you can make friends and relax. I'm a regular, even though I can afford a much more expensive vacation because I'm so 'at home' here. Truly a great place to stay in this area -- close to everything but great in its own right, with a supermarket nearby, you can grill and make your own food, sit down and have some coffee and forget the world outside. 1,000,000 thumbs up.
