Rooms and common areas are in need of an update. There is an odd odor that permeates the property, much like that of an assisted living residence. My room was inundated with ants in the morning. That said, it was not worth the 160.00 price tag. Check out and went down the road the following night, much better.

I have traveled here for four years since my daughter attended St. Lawrence University. For me it is all about the people. Wonderfully staffed both in the hotel and the restaurants. From the very first they have been warm and most accommodating. Excellent facility to do business in and around . Wonderful atmosphere for enjoying family and friends.

For us the rooms are just fine. Nothing too fancy yet clean and easily accessed no matter which floor you are on. We appreciate the way the make us feel and welcome us.

I will miss the hospitality after our years here are over.

This is the third year we have gone to Best Western for a Christmas Party. While the food on the buffet was so-so everything else was terrific. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The pillows are amazing. The check-in and check-out were speedy and friendly. We had breakfast in the morning and it was very good with good service. It is always a good sign when the same bartender has been there for the third year in a row.

I traveled to Canton for business to be conducted at the Best Western Plus University Inn and after my last stay at a Best Western, I was apprehensive. This Best Western was excellent. Rooms were very clean, the hotel had great curb appeal, carpet appeared to be relatively new, furniture was in good shape, and...and the staff were extremely helpful. The customer service rep offered several suggestions of good places to it, including their onsite restaurant. If you are visiting Canton, NY and are in need of a hotel room, I highly recommend the Best Western Plus University Inn Canton.
