Highly recommend. My husband and I stayed at the 1795 Acorn Inn during a weekend getaway to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised. The historic structure had a warm and romantic feel. The Innkeeper was both a highly efficient professional who gave a great deal of attention to every detail while at the same time felt like a warm and welcoming old friend.

Loved this place. We spent our 5 year anniversary here and it was the perfect getaway. Cozy, romantic atmosphere with charm and sophistication. Sheryl, the inn keeper, is a delight, and a phenomenal chef, too. Breakfasts were gourmet level, in presentation and taste. I never stayed at a B&B and was reluctant, but this one is top notch. Only complaint was our bed, which was a little springy, but otherwise a perfect stay.

Decades of traveling throughout the United States on business and for personal pleasure leaves one with many experiences, both good and bad. My husband's and my visit to the Finger Lakes was made extraordinary by staying at the Acorn Inn. The accomodations were exquisite. The details of the Inn's offerings in the public Gathering Room and the Dining Room were inviting, warm and picture perfect. Our room was large (The Bristol), the furnishings attractive and comfortable. So what else could be better? The morning breakfast! Each day we were greeted with fresh coffee and an outstanding food presentation. I love to cook and so does the Innkeeper. So I can be quite critical of details. Sheryl and her Mother are wonderful hostesses and definitely at home with others. It might seem that it is a requirement for innkeeping, but we all know that not everyone is suited to some areas of work. For these ladies, it isn't work but a pleasure. Although, I know how much time must be spent on keeping 1795 top notch! Can't wait to return. Thanks for the fantastic experience.
