We stayed at the Bella Rose which was our first B&B experience. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm hospitality that continued throughout our stay. The room (and entire house) was BEAUTIFUL and the attention to detail was top notch. Chris and Renee's breakfasts each morning were a treat and to call them delicious is an understatement. They made our romantic weekend amazing and we felt like royalty during our stay. We will definitely be returning!!

The Bella Rose is definitely a B&B that we will return to next year! The caretakers, Renee and Chris were extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants and sights to see. They were gracious enough to make reservations for us on both nights that we were there. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the jetted tub was very relaxing after a 7 1/2 hour drive! An exquisite gourmet breakfast was served and lasted us until the evening. The home was tastefully decorated and the grounds were beautifully manicured and well lit at nighttime. It was definitely a treat to stay at the Bella Rose. Thank you Renee and Chris!

We were able to book here at the last minute due to a cancellation. We were very lucky!. A delightful place especially if you appreciate the Victorian era. We had fun observing all the details that someone such as myself never would have dreamed of implementing. This restoration was done with tender loving care and it shows. Be sure to visit the Sonnenberg Gardens one-half mile away which will bring you additional peace. Although the property is located on a busy thoroughfare, our room was completely quiet.

Wonderful! Bella Rose exceeded all our expectations when my husband and I stayed there August 11 - 15. There was no detail left out, from the welcome at the door, the tour of the beautiful house, the dining recommendations, the providing of maps to local destinations. The breakfasts were memorable and there was enough food to carry a person over to dinner. There was a small refrigerator stocked with water, soda, and snacks. The bed was so comfortable and the chocolates in the room were a nice touch. We were fortunate to have great house mates and the breakfast conversation was lively and interesting. What a wonderful experience, and our thanks go to Renee and Chris for really "doing it right"!
