“Not a bad place to stay”

There are not a lot of hotel choices for the Bronx and I was quite surprised by this hotel. I had read some reviews and either the place cleaned up a lot or some people were being a bit harsh.

I had a deluxe and it was perfectly sized, had a great television, awesome internet speed, great decor, nice bed and bath and the housekeeping was the best I have ever had from any 2 or 3 star hotel.

The breakfast and lack of workout (unless I missed a workout room) were the only two problems for me. While breakfast was available, the room was cramped, but it was very nicely decorated. Also, there was a strong odor of marijuana at one point at one end of upper floor hallway, but my room was great.

Room Tip: You need to get deluxe room, unless the extra $20 or so a day is deal breaker

The ocation was perfect and safe to walk around. Taxis arrive in 10 minutes or less to take to any location needed. Walking distance you can get: bus; train; drugstores;licor shops; eating places; pizza; crispy cream. The staff was very diligent and always available. Totally recommended. The beds are awesome and alot of pillows very comfortable. The continental breakfeast is nice and fresh from 6am, good way to start the day.

The jacuzzi room is a value. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and worth the money. The room itself ran 170 with tax and it was worth it.

“Perfect in every possible way.”

I came to this hotel with my wife for one night just to get away from home. Prior to my visit, I had heard splendid things about this hotel which is what drew me in; but never did I know for myself the value this hotel had. Wow. The beds were amazingly comfortable with pillows to die for (I think majority of the stay we were pillow fighting) with all the amenities anyone could ever ask for. A refrigerator, a nice T.V. and an iron (In case the purpose of your visit is business, of course). Half of the things that were given to us in the room we never used, but it's the sheer fact that they were there in the first place just in case (Coffee machine and coffee, etc).

The thoughtfulness, consideration, and professionalism of the staff (From the Front Desk, to the maids, to the service at breakfast) is more than anyone could ever ask for. I have never stayed at a hotel and felt more taken care of than I do in my own home.
I actually became nervous and somewhat tongue-tied because the service was so attentive; and I'm used to fending for myself in hotels. The theme of the hotel is very fashionable; definitely the best atmosphere I've ever been in within a hotel in New York, not just the Bronx. We ended up staying the very next night just because it was such a great feeling.

Definitely worth a look into if you're in the area and feel like the need to get away.

“One of a kind experience”

This was an unexpected health and wellness experience for a weekend getaway which proved to be both invigorating and relaxing. It was exciting to wake up in the morning to a well prepare breakfast made with high quality ingredients which had a refreshing and delightful taste. Checking in and out of the hotel went well, in comparison to other hotel that I have stayed in before. Room service was remarkable. The cleaning staff were polite, asking whether i enjoyed the room, and its appearance. Such level of care and customer service is to be expected, but taking this service above and beyond is unexpected in an age of high expenses and bad mannerism. If you would like to put a good value on your experience, I recommend Ramada.
