“Great Price for the Location. Clean and neat, not the most comfortable.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2006

I'm a bit mixed about this place. We'll definitely pay a bit more and stay at a nicer place next time. I guess that's what you get for $99 in the middle of the Hamptons next to the lovely downtown Bridgehampton. The bed was firm as a board, we were aching when we woke up. We were there in late October, pouring rain, and the temperature control was virtually impossible on the old fashion heater. We had to keep both the heater and the a/c on to get just the right balance. The fire alam beeped for a half a second a couple of times during the night, which woke us up. The shower was great, hot and strong water pressure. Everything was clean and neat. I'm sure it would be nicer in the summer when we can sit on the porch and enjoy the scenery.

“Great room for a great price”

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Southampton location for a weekend in January. Our room (#10) was ultra-clean and recently renovated. We enjoyed the free internet access as well. The hotel is close to the town center and great restaurants. Highly recommended for folks looking to save a few bucks on lodging without sacrificing comfort.

“People-What do you want for your money??!!”

I've stayed here many times. It's a great value. If you're thinking you're coming to the Hamptons for a Ritz Carlton experience for $300 a night, then get your checkbook out and rent a house for 10k for a weekend- because no hotels have this to offer. The Enclave is clean, newly rennovated, comfy, and walking distance to downtown Bridgehampton. The owners are nice--they own many hotel/motels in Long Island and know what they are doing. I'm reading these reviews and can't believe what people think they are going to get in the Hamptons!

“Great Value Stay!”

We recently stayed 1 nt at the Enclave Inn, in Wainscott. (April 2005) We were really pleased with the accommodation for the money and its location.

We were a little unsure what to expect as the website for the 3 Enclave Inns in the area had no real photos and online reviews were scarce. However, dont worry about this, as the Inn at Wainscott was very nice. It consisted of about 20 rooms, spread out around a small rural setting in 1 and 2 story "forest lodge" style buildings around a pool (closed, too cold)

Our room/lodge was quite modern, incl noisy fridge (we unplugged it), sink, microwave. Sheets were lovely and crisp and we were able to park right outside the lodge.

We were lucky and caught a special deal of $50 a night. But even for the normal price its good value given the prices of other places in the area.

Wainscott, as we found out, was a village on the main Hamptons road, set between BridgeHampton and East Hampton. There were a few stores and food places near us but we drive to East Hampton for our night out (10 mins drive).

A great value Inn for the money and setting.

“Good price for the Hampton's”

Sept 12, 2004

Just stayed here for a few nights and was pleasantly suprised. The rooms are decent in size, with tile floors throughout. The sink is outside of the bathroom which I don't like and it only has a shower (not a tub or combo). They have a friendly staff and a nice grounds area for lounging (the pool was empty). My biggest complaint was the bed (queen). If you like a firm bed, this is the place for you, but I don't like feeling I'm slepping on hard dirt--it was tough.
But considering the prices that were being asked elsewhere in town ($160 & up weekday), this place was a bargain under $100 and 10% off with cash, with mini-fridge & ethernet connection in room.
The location is a huge selling point as you can walk to town and you're in-between East/South Hampton's which are about a 15 minute drive either way.
Overall we were happy with our stay here, and keep in mind what you get/do not get for the price.
