We camped here on a very busy weekend and a couple days after. We were impressed at how quiet the place was once it got to bed time -- such a pleasure after so many dismal nights being kept up at all hours by inconsiderate campers. The showers and bathrooms were sparkling, with great water pressure and heat for the showers. The staff was friendly and helpful each time we interacted with them. We'd definitely go back.

Our entire family was staying there for the 4th of July weekend. We rented one of their cottages. Which I will never do again! When we first arrived were told we owed them more money which surprised me being I paid in full with a credit card. We were given some story that they couldnt charge anymore than 3 nights on our card. Weird because that was the agreement on the phone (that we paid in full). Also they were very unprofessional being we never recieved anything confirming our stay. We actually had to call them to make sure our plans were solid . If we would have recieved aconfirmation we would have known ahead that we owed more money and we would have questioned it then not at check in. Not too add there were so many rules there you had to have a note pad to write everything down. Also I have two small children and it was not clean by anyones standards. My 3 yr old ended up very sick and I'm not sure if it was from their kiddy pool not chlorinated enough or their dirty cottage? Every time we turned on the air conditioner in our cottage it smelled like mildew so we had to either deal with the smell or deal with being sticky. The straw that broke the back and caused us to check out was that fact that my kids could'nt even play with sparklers on 4th of July night (more rules). That is when we checked out! I hate to be a complainer but they may want to look into hiring employees with personalities too....everyone at the registration office we talked to acted like they just crawled out of a coffin. Good times!!

This is such a nice campground for families. The setting is gorgeous and the park is so well maintained. The bathrooms are always clean and well kept. There are lots of planned activities for families and the staff is so helpful and kind. We have been to Hickory Hill several times and always put it on our list of must visit locations for the next year.

I just can't say enough about this place. From check-in to check-out, things went smoothly. The place is immaculate and the bath house is very nice a gets the job done. Even the laundry mat was spotless. The people were so friendly. We were there in the fall so the place was kind of empty. That made it nice and private for our group of motorhomes..
