I decided to stay 2 nights at this hotel for my daughter's 11th birthday. She loved the waterpark. It was super crowded on Saturday. I didn't think it was really fair for us that paid to stay at the hotel to share the park with those that didn't stay. I feel that people that paid to stay at the hotel should have the oppurtunity to enjoy the park without outside customers maybe a few hours before closing. We felt that their were a few life guards that need better training. There was one that was encouraging an grown man to slam a ball against the fake rock to make baskets while the kids were in the pool, someone could have gotten hurt if the ball would off hit someone in the face. When my fiance mentioned to another life guard, he did not react. It continued. If my child was to get hit it would have been ugly in there. I am glad it did not get to that point. Life guard Tasha (I believe that's her name, a young girl)put a stop to it without us even mentioning anything to her. "KUDDOS GIRL" She was great. The waterpark manager saw this grown man playing with the ball and didn't even put a stop to it. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
The hotel itself was a little outdated. I thought it was a new place but it looks like the water park is the only thing new. NOT SURE IF WE WOULD GO BACK....NOT TOO IMPRESSED! :(
