“Very Good Retro Motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

If you like retro, excellent rates, comfortable beds and good location off I-40 then this is the place to choose. We plan of staying here on our return trip home in the spring.

“Cheap and comfortable way to spend the night while traveling...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

Descent place to spend the night, basic, no luxury. This hotel is accommodating regarding hours, something the other #1 and #2 rated hotels were not. We called the others to make a same day reservation to arrive around 10:30pm and they said they were closed but route 66 was happy to have us. Besides the bathroom beig very small and the sheets a bit thin, the bed was comfortable and the small cafe attached to the hotel was cute and also accomodating. A good place to stop when coming through town!

“Favorite stay on our Route!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

This place was perfect. It's got the atmosphere that we were looking for along the route, it's clean, and they were able to somehow renovate/modernize this old motel to make it fun and modern (for snobs like myself) and yet maintain the historic retro route 66 look. Plus along the route- it's the best bang for your buck - seriously i compared them all, i do my research.

“Friendly cheap hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Very nice lady checked us in and recommended a decent restaurant for dinner. For $34 bux you can't expect much in this drab almost ghost town. Also, nice to have early am coffee right next door.

“This place is awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

In July, I was en route to Phoenix from Wichita and it began to get dark so I stopped in Tucumcari after a long day of driving and found this place. As a person who often judges a book by its cover, I was fearful of the 39 dollar price for one night, but this place exceeded expectations. It was a nostalgic person's paradise. If you love the 1960's, stay at this place. The staff are very friendly and polite and will do anything to accommodate you and the coffee shop is also wonderful. This place is also very clean. If you're fearful of bed bugs, mold, roaches or anything frightening like that, stay here. Its a safe haven. I'll definitely go back if I can.

Room Tip: Ask for a room, you'll get a good one.
