This independent motel is a reasonably tidy bargain for this traveller who was just passing through on my way to Tucson. The room included a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was o.K. The bathroom had older linoleum tiles and showed some wear. Just a shower stall (no bath). The motel faces southerly which is nice in the winter and parking is conveniently right outside the door. Overall the motel is very good although the town seems to be in decline with many empty buildings. What is left mostly close up before 5 pm. I didn't make it to any hot springs, just a stroll around town.

This inn is exactly what I want in accommodations. It has simple, clean rooms that are very affordable for the area.The owner/manager makes you feel at home and is available to answer any questions you have about the area. They also offer reduced-price vouchers for the Riverbend Hot Springs, which is an absolute must do. The best value for your money in T or C.
