“As always a great time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

This is our third visit to Blackstone. This time we were in the Jetsons room. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the one in this room is really large (easily fits two adults). Having a patio was so nice to enjoy the sun. It is great to be able to walk to the downtown and leave our car parked for two days. My only criticism is the bed sheet on the mattress was really pilled and scratchy.

Room Tip: Spend the extra for a suite

“Very nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

My husband and I stayed in the Babaloo suite which was nice and large (with a comfy king bed) had a separate little "kitchen" area with a cute little dinette, fridge, sink, microwave and good real coffee! The soaking tub in the room was great and big enough for my 6'3" hubby and me, filled quickly plus liked the shower there so you could cool it down a little if needed. So quiet, felt like we were the only ones there! Loved the wet room soak too. Will certainly stay there again!

“Great romantic stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

We stayed in the Babaloo suite. Staff was very friendly and let us check in an hour early. The king bed had nice comfortable linens, and a large selection of pillows. The in-room tub was easy to fill for private soaking, and doubled as the shower which allowed us to add some cool water to adjust the temp to our preference. We rarely left the room!

“Romantic getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

We loved our stay in the As The World Turns room. The tub is bigger than the pic makes it look--it's huge but fills in about 3 minutes.
The room wasn't so huge, but the bed was comfy and everything was clean and well styled for comfort and relaxation.
The wet room was a great experience (really cool mineralization on the surfaces of the waterfall room make it feel like a cave), but I don't know about paying $25 for an hour in it, as you have to spend half that time cooling out of the water.
We usually stay at Riverbend, but this was a nice change of pace; and you can't beat the privacy for a couple's getaway.

Room Tip: Pick based on the tub size you want--all the rooms are nice and have fun themes.

“nice quiet place to relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

my wife and wanted to go some where for our 25th anniversery other that ruidoso for the weekend, i work in a busy er in elpaso and a docotr freind of mine was looking over my shoulder when i was looking it up on-line and told me to go experience the place. what a nice relaxing time we had. the room was nice.(my wife really did not like the concept of the toilet not having a door around it) but other than that it was nice. the bed was comfortable for us and the staff was real nice. he gave us a hour in the wet room for our anniversery since it was our first time there, went to a couple of reasutrants there one was really goos los amogos i think but what freindly service we had there nice portions and good price. i forgot my golf clubs but if you play golf go to the new golf course up there. the greens are presitine right now and the price is real reasonable. i pan on going back there for another weekend and play golf too. the bath tub is huge. take some candles and some bubbles and have a real nice time
